Bruce J. Crowley is co-founder and senior managing partner at Frieda Partners.  He is an executive coach and behavioral scientist.

Mr. Crowley has held corporate leadership positions in over 50 industries. He has 15 years of publicly traded and private company Board experience. In the 80’s he was part of an executive management group that partnered with Wasserstein, Perella Partners to take KDI Corporation, a NYSE listed industrial holding company, private in an LBO. During the 90’s, as Vice Chairman of ACTV Inc. (NASDAQ: IATV), he led the development of two market leading software businesses before the company’s sale to Liberty Media in 2003. From 2007 through 2015 Crowley served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive of Hilbert Technology Inc., a company specializing in big data analytics and anomaly threat detection for the government

In 2006, Mr. Crowley was a contributor to The Birkman Reader, an anthology of The Birkman Method’s best practice applications, published by Birkman International.

He served as Special Assistant to the Dean of the College at Colgate University specializing in student development from 2003 – 2007.  At Colgate he developed and taught two nationally renowned programs: Career Development for the New Economy and Leadership Development for the New Economy. Career Development for the New Economy was cited as one of the top ideas in The New York Times Magazine 4th Annual Year in Ideas, December 2004, the “Employable Liberal Arts”.

He graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in English and from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business with an M.B.A. in finance and marketing.
